Want to help on a consistent schedule? Join our core team.

What you’ll do: assist with habitat care (planting, invasive removal, irrigation upkeep), build/maintain enclosures, make and/or participate in enrichment, help keep facilities clean days, clen enclosures and support basic operations.


How it works: brief application + phone call, then we’ll match you to a role and cadence (weekly, biweekly, or monthly).

By Project

Volunteer Event Days (Project‑Based).

The whole helpful herd shows up and we knock out a targeted project—perfect for individuals, families, groups and teams!

Typical projects: enclosure revamp, put up fencing, remove tamarisk, plant natives, revamp mend fences, build enrichment and more.


We provide lunch and all tools; you bring energy and closed‑toe shoes.

Volunteer From Anywhere (Skills‑Based)

Not nearby or unable to do physical work? You can still make a big impact as a skills‑based volunteer. For $5, become a DSPC member and join one of our working committees. Meetings are virtual and task‑based, so you can contribute from anywhere on a schedule that works for you.
